EDG joins Carbon Management Canada’s Joint Industry Partnership Program
HOTCHKISS, COLORADO – September 4, 2025
We're excited to share that Engineering Design Group (Edg) has joined Carbon Management Canada's (CMC) Joint Industry Partnership (JIP) program.
CMC’s in-house subsurface Containment and Monitoring Innovation (CaMI) team is globally recognized for their work on geological CO2 storage monitoring technologies, centered on their Newell County field research station in Alberta. There, they inject CO2 in a shallow reservoir, 300 meters deep, and test various technologies to research the best ways to detect CO2 plumes beneath the surface.
Edg will support the CaMI team's initiatives by installing our instrumentation at multiple locations on their project site. Soil-gas concentration data and environmental data from our automated platform will be made available to the CaMI team and the CMC JIP partners to advance their research.
We look forward to our first installation in Alberta, working alongside the expert team at Carbon Management Canada, and pushing our advanced platform to new extremes.
